North Carolina Artist, Becky Denmark has a BA in Graphic Design and worked briefly for a small publisher in Charlotte before her career took a turn. She did not return to her art until she began studying oil painting with Andy Braitman in 2008 and completed his intensive Artist-In-Residence Program in 2012.

Becky spent summers either at the beach or in the mountains where she learned to love her surroundings at an early age. Her work continues to be a reflection of time spent enjoying those visits. More recently she enjoys focusing on the wildlife in her own backyard and the native birds that are so interesting to watch and fun to paint!

Her paintings are available at ArtSource Fine Art in Raleigh NC, O’Brien Gallery in Greensboro NC, and I Pinckney Simons Gallery in Beaufort SC.

Her work can also be found in corporate as well as private collections, including Elon University and Cone Memorial Women’s Health Center.
